The Child’s Day

AM

6:30-9:00         Children arrive at the program.

                             Children play with manipulatives, color, book  time

                             or play with toys.

8:15-9:00         Breakfast is offered to all children

9:00-10:30       Morning Prime Time (group time, art, and free play)*

10:30-11:20     Outdoor Play or gross motor activities.

11:20-11:30     Clean up

11:30-12:00     Lunch

PM

12:00-12:30     Bathroom and quiet reading time

12:30-2:30       Nap/Rest (Everyone participates)

2:30-3:00         Wake up/ toileting/wash hands/Snack

3:00-4:00         Outdoor Play

4:00-5:30         Free Play

5:30                 Center Closes

*Activities are adapted for the age of each child and will strengthen communication in each child.  Activities will include song, art projects and skill building.

 One of our annual projects is the planting of a garden adjacent to the outdoor play area.
